In this at-home beginner class, you will learn the fundamental principles and techniques of hand building (pinching, coil building, slab building). Each student will create 5-6 unique projects, including teacups, bowls, mugs, and small vases. This class is designed to require minimal tools, most of which can be easily found in your kitchen at home; a list of kitchen tools that can be used will be sent out after registration.
Time: Thursdays from 8-9:30 pm, March 25 - April 29 on Zoom.

9lb of stoneware clay
Basic tool rental: a sponge, clay cutter
Glazing and firing of your pieces once the class is over, maximum of 10 pieces (in Matte White Opaque glaze). Students are responsible for bringing their pieces to the studio for firing and picking them up once complete.
A list of kitchen tools that can be used will be sent out after a registration
Clay collecting: March 23, 6-7p.m. at 135 Ave Van horne # 105.
Dropping of your works: May 3 or 4, 6-7 p.m *No delay will be accepted for the firing of the pieces.
Space in each of my classes is limited. A deposit of $100 is required to reserve a place in any class. This amount is not refundable if you decide to cancel once the payment has been paid.
Class fee is payable online by credit card or by e-transfer.
