Wheel Throwing Classes Instructor

We are deeply passionate about the transformative power of clay. The profound sense of flow within stillness that clay provides can be an incredible tool to aid in reconnecting with our senses and our inner selves. Our mission is to extend this meditative and transformative experience to our community, and we would love for you to be a part of it. 

Type: Part-Time ( 4 - 12 hours a week, with the potential for additional private classes)

Start Date & Duration: Minimum 6 months, preference for a long-term partnership

Responsibilities:

• Teaching adult beginner wheel throwing classes (with potential for additional classes)
• Demonstrate ceramic techniques in a clear and methodical manner
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Provide constructive feedback to students
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space

• Minimum 2 years of wheel throwing or equivalent experience 
• Previous teaching experience is a plus
• Approach teaching with a calm and mindful demeanor
• Willingness to learn and ask questions
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and capable of multitasking
