In this 6 weeks beginner pottery class, you will learn the essential skills to work on the pottery wheel. Wedging, centering, wheel throwing, trimming, and basic glazing techniques will be covered. Projects could include small bowls, cups, ceramic pots for plants and mugs. ***The projects will be adjusted depending on the individual level of returned students.***
Date: (6 weeks, 3 hours per week)
- Tuesday, from Oct 31 - Dec 5 (6-9 pm) - Alena (FR + EN)
- Wednesday, from Nov 1 - Dec 6 (6-9pm) - Alena (FR + EN)
- Saturday, from Nov 4 - Dec 9 (2-5pm) - Alena (FR + EN)
- Sunday, from Nov 5 - Dec 10 (10am-1pm) - Jasper (EN)
- Sunday, from Nov 5 - Dec 10 (2-5pm) - Jasper (EN)
Price: $375 + taxes, a block of clay, glaze, and all material are included. Deposit of $100 payable by credit card on our site. Balance payable by e-transfer one week before the class date. Payment instruction will be sent by email once deposit is paid.
*For any classes canceled due to Covid restrictions, a full credit or new class date will be offered. All deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation via email with more than 14 days' notice:
- * You'll receive 50% of the class fee as store credit, which has no expiration date.
- * If we can manage to find a replacement for your spot, you'll receive a full credit, minus a $25 administration fee. There is no expiration date for store credit.
- * You can transfer your class registration to friends or family to avoid losing the fees.

Absences : Students are responsible for attending all classes.
- * 2 weeks class: Our team will trim and glaze the work on behalf of the student.
- * 6 weeks class: We will do our best to find you a spot in another class when there is an absence from other classes. Although, make-up classes are NOT something we can guarantee to offer.
- * Glazing classes: If you miss your final glazing session, we will do our best to find you a spot in another class. In the case there is no availability, we will glaze your piece with a white glaze. Or you have the option to bring your bisque pieces home and bring back to glaze them in the future session if you are planning to join the class again.
- * Open-studio: we do not offer replacement sessions for open-studio sessions.
